A huge 'thanks!' to all of our 2012 NIU Cares Day volunteers!
Mark your calendars now and get your NIU Cares Day teams together! All participants must register with a team (Students signing up as individuals should join 'Team-NIU Cares.'). If you do not see your team in the drop-down menu, email niucaresday@niu.edu with your team name and contact information for the team's Team Leader. A confirmation will be sent to the Team Leader when the team has been added. Registration will be available February 1st-March 31st. **There will be no on-site registration available, so all participants must register by the deadline.**
Community Members
Does your agency, organization, or home need volunteers to complete projects? Please fill out the Project Site Request (PDF) and submit by February 28th for priority placement using the return information provided on the form. The final registration deadline for all job site request forms is Friday, March 22nd.
Note that campus initiatives that organize campus volunteers (mainly students) to perform a variety of service projects throughout the greater DeKalb Community will not have project sites that are private property of Northern Illinois University faculty, staff, or students.
